Share Your Forest Lawn Story

Forest Lawn is truly the place where memories live and new ones are made every day. It is with this in mind that we are developing a wonderful new “coffee table” book that tells the story of Forest Lawn, but in a very unique way – through the eyes of those whose lives have been touched in some way by this very special place. If yours has been, we’d love to know your Forest Lawn story. We may include it in our new book. Please share it with us. You can do so over the phone by calling the Forest Lawn Story Line at 1-800-213-4006; Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Or to submit it online, just click the button below.

As heard on WBEN Radio 930..."Ask Joe" - Your Questions for Forest Lawn President, Joseph Dispenza.

We invite you to submit your question about burial, cremation or anything to do with Forest Lawn. We may use and answer your question on an upcoming segment of "Ask Joe" on WBEN. When you submit your question, please provide your first name and the town where you live. (Ex. Bill from Hamburg.)

Where memories live and the stories are told.

There's no place like Forest Lawn.

Forest Lawn is one of America's premier historic cemeteries.  Unmatched natural beauty – hills, valleys, lakes and streams.  Sculptural masterpieces.  Living history.  Most importantly, the stories - of those who now rest in peace under our care.  These stories shouldn’t end here.  They are ready to be discovered and to have the next chapters written. We invite you to read more about our history, plan a visit, become a member or access our extensive archives of historic documents.

Honoring Vietnam Veterans Killed in Action

We are very pleased to make the outstanding work of Forest Lawn Historian Patrick Kavanagh accessible to the world.  Pat, who is himself a Vietnam veteran, has compiled the definitive resource of information on all 532 veterans (531 men and 1 woman) with direct ties to the eight counties of Western New York who were killed or died while on active duty in Vietnam.

In Pat's words..."We must never forget the sacrifices made by these young people."
