Buffalo's Best Restaurants Remembered: The Cloister
March 24th, 2013 2 PM - 4 PM
Buffalo's Best Restaurants Remembered: the fourth Sunday of every month, January through April!
James D. DiLapo Jr. bought the site of Mark Twain’s Buffalo residence at 472 Delaware Avenue and, in 1964, opened The Cloister restaurant. Known for its décor and superb menu, The Cloister won numerous awards and was known as Buffalo’s premier restaurant. Join us in our historic chapel as Marla Bujnicki, master docent for Buffalo Tours, goes back in time to an era of restaurant elegance, complete with a display of memorabilia including old menus and advertising. Guests will enjoy a sample of a signature dish from The Cloister.
Cost is $25. Seating is limited; reservations are required. Order tickets here.
