Tree-planting Event

The public is invited to join Forest Lawn and Re-Tree WNY to assist with the planting of approximately 200 bare root deciduous hardwood trees along the inside perimeter of Forest Lawn's fence over a two-day period: Friday, October 26 and Saturday, October 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. No experience is necessary; a brief training session will take place on both days. Tools and refreshments will be provided. Participants are asked to wear appropriate work clothing and closed-toe shoes or boots. This event will be held rain or shine. Volunteers are invited to participate on one or both days, depending on availability. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Families are welcome.
