Veterans Section 19
(Above Photo is Veteran’s Graveside Committal)

  • Designated Section Reserved for Veterans

  • In cooperation with The American Legion, Erie County Committee, U.S. flags are placed on the graves every Memorial Day and Veterans Day

"Field of Valor"

The "Field of Valor" is a new area in the Veterans Section 19 which allows for distinguished burial for Veteran and Spouse.  The joint burial in a single or double-depth grave (no matter the choice of either partner for casketed or cremated burial) will be distinguished by an upright veteran's memorial and the spouse's burial can be marked in a number of ways. The upright veteran's memorial is made of stately white marble and is provided by the Government at no charge.

To discuss your individual needs, call one of our non-commissioned Family Service Representatives at (716) 885-1600, or email flc@forest-lawn.com.
